HOW TO REACH PAVIA BY PLANE
Pavia does not have an airport, but it is well connected to the three main airports serving Milan.
From Milan Linate Airport: take the M4 metro line from the airport and get off after 5 stops at Milano Dateo, where you can transfer to the S13 train to Pavia (7 stops). The whole journey takes about one hour.
From Milan-Bergamo “Orio al Serio” Airport (served by low-cost flights): take a bus to Milan Central Station, then a train to Pavia. This trip can take up to 3 hours.
From Milan Malpensa Airport: take the Malpensa Express train from Terminal 1 to Milano Bovisa Politecnico station, then catch the S13 train to Pavia. The journey takes about one hour and a half. (Note: as of January 2026, the Malpensa Express has officially been renamed RE51 from Milano Centrale, or RE54 from Milano Cadorna).
HOW TO REACH PAVIA BY TRAIN
The train station is in the city centre, and all the main conference venues can be reached on foot within 20–30 minutes.
HOW TO REACH PAVIA BY CAR
Most parking areas in Pavia’s centre are paid (blue-line zones), and the historic centre is a restricted traffic zone (ZTL). We recommend checking parking options in advance.
